Finish Line!

I’m finished!!! I’m exhausted, my carpal tunnel is killing me, my head feels like it’s going to split in two (and I wish it would just fall off and get it over with), my whole body aches, and I went over my deadline a bit.. but I’m done; and the mixture of relief and pride I felt submitting everything tonight was indescribable! I’m so relieved that I actually finished all three pieces; especially after all of the trials and tribulations I had with “Chivalry.” It’s a little unreal how well it came together in the final hour, talk about an underdog!
“Knight,” 30×40 inches, acrylic on canvas (I’m still working on a better photo. If you look closely you can see the clematis at the bottom).
“Chivalry”, 30×36 inches, mixed media (collage, acrylic, pen and ink). A major change in the last hour included taking out the top center helmet and replacing it with knights on horses jousting.
Hey girl they look great. I love the way the knight shines in the “Knight” painting. Also I love the stones with the flowers in it. Very neat. As for “Chivalry” I like it alot, yet there isnt one thing that I like better than another on it. I know I have no art experince so dont mind me…just wanted say good job and that from the eyes of an art moron they look great..lmao

Ya, this RSS feed thing with LiveJournal is wacky. We couldn’t use it through my own LJ account, so we made a new one. If you post directly to my website I get an email in an account I seldom check. If you comment to LiveJournal I don’t get any notice, and I need to copy and paste your comments to my website.. so my “other readers” LOL can see what you’ve posted. Since I still read LiveJournal and am continually adding to my website it’s not a big deal, yet.
I think, then, that I’ll de-friend the LJ feed, and insert this into my *shudder* “blogroll”.
(Incidentally, “Bog roll” is commonwealth slang for toilet paper. I’m pretty sure whoever coined “blogroll” knew that.)
